It was Christmas season, and Samsung was releasing its first 360 Camera and VR headset. AT&T saw this as the perfect opportunity to drive sales by showcasing the potential of this groundbreaking technology.
The Objective
As the Creative Director for the project, and with such a new technology, my goal was to create magic; the kind that makes everyone feel like a kid again.
The Experience
To bring this vision to life, I created an immersive Christmas Village where visitors shrank to elf-size to explore a life-sized holiday wonderland.
By mounting Samsung’s 360 Camera on a moving train and streaming the footage in real time as a way to promote AT&T’s fast data, we transported consumers into a dazzling festive world without them ever leaving the store
The Results
Thousands of people amazed, lots of fun, and a 28% sales increase for data plans with Samsung devices in stores where the activation took place.
